Gilbert Arenas says he deserves to be punished for bringing guns to the locker room. LaDainian Tomlinson is bolting for the Big Apple. Tomlinson’s agent, Tom Condon, said Sunday that the New York Jets signed the former Chargers running back to a two-year contract. The Jets confirmed that they have agreed to a deal, adding the aging star to the NFL’s top-ranked rushing offense last season.

John Calipari only had questions once he and his Kentucky Wildcats finished celebrating their Southeastern Conference tournament championship. “How did we win this game? How did we go to overtime? Browns trade QB Quinn to Broncos (AP)

Brady Quinn will get a chance to start over in Denver. Whether he’ll get to start is up in the air. The Broncos acquired the former first-round draft pick from the Cleveland Browns for fullback Peyton Hillis, a 2011 sixth-round draft pick and a conditional pick in 2012.
